はじめに
こんにちは！
僕はヨーロッパ某国でC# WPF開発をしている日本人エンジニアです。
今回は、海外の開発現場で「テスト設計」「テスト仕様書作成」「レビュー」時によく使ったリアル英語フレーズを、
全部“実体験ベース”でまとめてみました。
英語に自信がない人でも、そのままコピペ＆アレンジで使える表現だけを厳選しています！
【シチュエーション別フレーズ集】
✅ テスト仕様書ドラフト提出時
「とりあえず作ったから、まずは見てほしい」
- Here is the initial draft of the test specification for the new feature.
- Please take a look and let me know your feedback.
「まだ途中だけど、方向性だけ確認してほしい」
- This is still a work in progress, but I’d like to check if I’m on the right track.
✅ レビュー依頼時（カジュアルに頼む）
「軽くレビューしてもらえる？」
- Could you quickly review this when you have time?
「特にAcceptance Criteriaの部分が心配です」
- I’m particularly concerned about the acceptance criteria section.
- I want to make sure I’ve covered all necessary scenarios.
✅ フィードバックに対してのリアクション

✅ レビュー会議中によく使ったフレーズ
「このケースでは、ユーザーが〇〇する場合を想定しています」
- In this test case, I’m assuming the user will do [〇〇].
「前提条件は、ユーザーがログイン済みであることです」
- The precondition here is that the user is already logged in.
「このステップでは、システムが〇〇を返すことを期待しています」
- At this step, we expect the system to return [〇〇].
「このケースが抜けていたので、追加しました」
- I realized this case was missing, so I’ve added it.
✅ 質問が飛んできたときの応答例
「すぐに確認して、回答します」
- Let me double-check and get back to you.
「この仕様部分は、まだ開発チームと調整中です」
- This part of the specification is still under discussion with the development team.
「ここは仮の内容です。確定次第、更新します」
- This is a placeholder for now. I’ll update it once it’s confirmed.
✅ 自信がないときの逃げフレーズ（笑）
「英語が変だったらごめんなさい！」
- Sorry if my English sounds weird. Please let me know if anything is unclear.
「表現が曖昧かもしれないので、遠慮なく指摘してください」
- The wording might be unclear, so feel free to point it out.
✅ 最後にレビューのお礼＆次回アクション指定

おわりに：まとめとエール！
僕も最初は、
「Acceptance Criteriaって何？」
「Preconditionってどこに書くの？」
「Negative test caseって具体的に何すればいいの？」
…そんなレベルでした（笑）
でも、こうやって一つずつフレーズをストックして、毎回コピペ＆アレンジしてるうちに、自然と慣れてきました。
英語が苦手でも大丈夫。
むしろ、**「分かりやすさ」「シンプルさ」「論理的な表現」**が求められるのがテスト設計の世界。
